This vibrant annual event is dedicated to showcasing the outstanding produce, fine fare and innovative sustainability initiatives taking place in the Blue Mountains and across the wider region. Aimed at all ages, the Festival features an inspired mix of market stalls set on Leura Mall, along with lunch options from local chefs, regional wine and beer tastings, the ever-popular Pet Chook Show and Scarecrow Competition, the ultimate Chocolate Cake Competition and a Jam-Making Competition for all age groups. If you have an interest in all things FRESH, REGIONAL & SUSTAINABLE, this Festival is for you!

Throughout the magical winter months of June, July and August, many of the region's finest hotels, restaurants, motor inns and guest houses celebrate Yulefest. Menus feature everything from traditional dinners of turkey and plum puddings to modern offerings, with crackling fires and elaborate Christmas decorations providing the finishing touches.

Celebrating cold climate gardens and gardening, the Leura Gardens Festival is not to be missed.
Numerous gardens are opened up to the public during this fabulous spring festival, including the spectacular National Trust property – Everglades. Other gardens featured are all privately owned, giving visitors a great opportunity to see a wide cross-section of the very best gardens the region has to offer and interact with some of the passionate garden owners.
This year the festival takes a new format will be held for 6 days over 2 long weekends:
Note: There will be no festival from Tuesday 2 October to Thursday 4 October 2018
Pre-festival tours will also be run from Monday 24 to Friday 28 September 2018.
All proceeds raised benefit the Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial Hospital and other Blue Mountains health related organisations.
Multiple-entry tickets may be used on any day or combination of days during the festival, and can be purchased at the top of Leura Mall (on Railway Parade) or at the entry to any garden (prices available soon).
Groups of 10+ people are invited to take advantage of special pre-festival tours during the five days leading up to the main festival and enjoy a private, escorted tour of four very special gardens, some of which will not be open during the main festival. Other Festival attractions include the popular plant sales centre and daily 'Music in the Gardens' performances.
